My name is Mon-Ying Schoop-Lau. Born and raised in Curaça0, my dream and my pleasure is to be able to serve you with love and expertise, to make your difficult times the most valuable growth experience of your life! I am a psychologist, working in the field of clinical psychology since 2006 and hope to keep on doing this till my last breath!

 

I have graduated from the University of Leiden (The Netherlands) in 2006 and obtained my master's degree in psychology with a thesis on Medically Unsolved Psychosomatic Complaints. Since then I am keeping up with science developments and training on the fields of psychosomatic disorders,  trauma, stress, personality and family systems to supply you with services that are made to measure your specific needs, wherever you are in the world.

 

My philosophy is very simple. We are all richly blessed with exactly the seeds we will need to live this beautiful life. If we add love to every single seed we sow, it will grow and give us an infinite of fruits. These fruits are to be shared with others, so other people can be nourished by them and be encouraged to sow their seeds too. The more seeds we share, the more different kinds of seeds we will get back from life. The more we give, the more we will be blessed with other virtues and lots of wisdom.

 

The simple fact that we are alive means that we own and deserve a place on this earth! There is no such thing as coincidence. We only need to believe that we are meant to be here and take the courage to claim this special place by sowing all seeds nature is giving us since birth and share the fruits. Soil, sun and air are gifts of nature. The only missing ingredient for a plant to grow healthy is love, because if you love, you will care enough to water the seeds nature granted you.

 

And if life takes a turn you do not expect, just keep on believing that your future will be blessed through those past and present experiences and that we will be here to help you! We trust the unexplainable to be part of the mystery of acquiring faith and spiritual growth.
